I first saw the story of the Man from Taured on Reddit and was intrigued, especially with the mention of sources. When I found out that the "source" was one line, I was disappointed, and I've been curious ever since about who embellished the story and how it came to life online. Did someone spot this one line in this relatively obscure book and take it to build a story around it, or did that someone have a different source with more information?
